Buying the vehicle and being able to drive it are two different projects, and the second one is administrative. Registration, plates, insurance and the transport office’s own file all have to line up, and they are easier to line up in an order somebody has walked before than in the order they occur to you.
We are not going to list the steps, the fees or the tax position here, and you should be sceptical of any dealer’s website that does. Those are rates and rules, they change, and a page that quotes last year’s is worse than a page that quotes none. What is stable is that the file is finite and somebody does it every week.
